Unlocking Alternative Career Pathways: Opportunities Beyond Academia—Panel Discussion with AsiaGlobal Fellows 2024
The Panel Discussion with AsiaGlobal Fellows 2024—one of the Graduate School’s annual highlights dedicated to empowering research postgraduates’ career trajectories—took place on November 8, 2024. The Panel featured five Fellows, who are distinguished professionals in their respective fields: Ms Sahar Albazar, Egyptian Parliament, Dr Magdalena Łągiewska, University of Gdańsk, Poland, Mr Felipe Oria, Mirã Institute, Brazil, Mr Juraj Sevella, Office of the President of the Slovak Republic, and Dr Chinmay Tumbe, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
Drawing from their diverse backgrounds, cultures, and expertise, the five Fellows generously and candidly imparted their inspiring stories of personal growth, beliefs, and reflections to the participating research postgraduates. Each Fellow underscored the pivotal role of relentless pursuit of opportunities, goal-setting, flexibility, and networking in career growth and advancement.
