(B) Faculty/Departmental Courses          ​

 

  • 4-year PhD:                                                                      
    - At least 5 courses, inclusive of both regular or elective courses, with at least 1 course in Foundation, 1 course in Computation, 1 course in Application, within the first year of study, and 2 courses from either one of the categories for the remaining years of study; and
    - Attend at least 10 seminars in each academic year
  • MPhil:
    - At least 3 regular courses, with 1 course from each of the categories (1 course in Foundation, 1 course in Computation and 1 course in Application); and
    - Attend at least 10 seminars organised by the Institute over the entire study period
