Notes:

  1. The safety course is conducted twice a year, with one session offered each semester. Students may enrol in the course during the online course enrolment period and will be informed of the detailed schedule by the Faculty via email. SSAF6001 is regarded as an independent Faculty course which students are required to complete before their candidature can be confirmed. Departmental courses refer only to departmental core and elective courses. Please note that completion of at least 50% of departmental courses does not include SSAF6001.

  2. For 3-year PhD students who have completed an MPhil at HKU, please contact your home Department regarding the coursework requirements.

Coursework arrangements are subject to change during the course of study. Students are advised to consult their home Faculty/Department for the most up-to-date course information.
