Transform Your Research into Innovation

At HKU, research isn’t just about discovery—it’s also about making a real-world impact. Established in June 2023, the Techno-Entrepreneurship Core (TEC) offers a direct path for turning research breakthroughs into entrepreneurial success stories. TEC synergises HKU’s efforts in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing especially on the commercialisation of deep tech research. As a comprehensive platform, TEC empowers our researchers and research postgraduates to convert their academic prowess into market-ready solutions.
